Job summary

Minit Mart in Lee's Summit, Missouri is seeking high energy team members to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, operating the cash register, and maintaining store organization.

Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in retail or guest service, along with a comfort in interacting with customers and team members. A flexible schedule with the possibility of part-time or full-time hours is available.

Qualifications

• ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service
• Operate the cash register efficiently
• Adjust quickly to changing tasks in a fast paced environment
• Brewing coffee, stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment with the team
• Assist manager with day-to-day operations and store oversight
• Cross‑trained in all store areas, gaining operations experience

Scheduling

This position may be part time or full time. It involves working a variety of hours, day and night; Minit Mart locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store. Weekend and holiday hours are required.

Hours & Conditions

Part‑time: up to 29 hours per week

Full‑time: 30‑40 hours per week

Travel

5%. May be asked to work in other nearby stores occasionally.

Physical Requirements

Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand or walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip, and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
