Job summary

Ashley Furniture, a leading home furnishings brand with a 75-year history, is expanding its footprint. As a Retail Sales Associate, you guide store guests through styles and room designs, creating inspiration and delivering a superior shopping experience.

You are the expert on Ashley’s products and help guests design rooms they will love. In a fast-paced, high-energy environment, you’ll process sales, assist with financing, help open/close duties, manage cash, and support inventory controls

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest.
• Accurately process sales orders and adhere to cash handling protocols.
• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist with store opening/closing activities and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Thrives in an environment that rewards for delivering world-class service and delighting our guests.
• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest. Maintain a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk; engage with guests, ensuring they are always treated in a cordial, respectful manner representing the Company's brand image.
• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols. Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required while maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible
• Aid in store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks
• Meet and exceed sales goals, align to KPI’s and performance standards
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management

What You Bring:

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 IBS with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
