Job summary

AbleLight in Wisconsin is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to support customers and donors. You will operate the cash register, assist donors, and respond to inquiries with a professional manner.

Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, keeping the store neat and welcoming, and helping raise funds for the AbleLight charity through special events and round-ups. Flexible hours and a team-oriented nonprofit environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
• Support donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor.
• Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through round ups at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.
• This list does not contain all responsibilities of a Retail Sales Associate. There may be other duties assigned during the workday.
