Job summary

Tony's Ace Hardware in Hazel Park is hiring friendly team members to welcome customers and assist with projects. Prior hardware experience is a plus but not required, as we provide extensive training.

You’ll work with a helpful, energetic team, help customers find what they need, and keep the store running smoothly. This role involves standing most of the shift and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous hardware experience preferred but not required.
• Extensive training provided.
• Customer-facing role with a hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items for their projects in a single trip.
• Maintain a fast-paced, high-energy store atmosphere.
• Stand for 6–8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs (Ice melt, mulch, cement, soils...).
