Job summary

East Coast Lumber is seeking Retail Sales Associates for Full-time and Part-time positions at East Hampstead, NH. Ideal candidates will have strong people and communication skills, enjoy teamwork, and be able to work on their feet, lift 50 lbs, and occasionally work evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, helping customers locate and select products, restocking, and maintaining store appearance.

Retail Sales Associate

Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking Retail Sales Associates for Full-time and Part-time positions.

Successful candidates will have strong people skills, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be able to work in a team environment, and most of all enjoy working with people. .

About Us: East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.

General Requirements:

• Need to have excellent phone skills.
• Must have good organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.
• Be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8hr. shift
• Experience or exposure to Building Materials or Hardware is a plus.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Available and willing to work at least one weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm
• Must be legal to work in the United States and be over 18 years old.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating a Point-Of-Sales system to sell products from in the store or out in the lumber yard.
