Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in a fast-paced environment to help guests transform their living spaces. You will guide customers as the store expert on home furnishings, creating inspiration, enthusiasm, and room designs customers love to live in.

Responsibilities include delivering world-class service, processing sales, assisting with financing, and maintaining a polished front desk presence. Flexible hours and a collaborative team await in this growth-focused role.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience required or preferred.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately and adhere to cash handling protocols; assist with credit applications and financing; document transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist with store opening/closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention, including bi-annual inventory checks.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and KPI targets.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.

What You’ll Do:

• Thrives in an environment that rewards for delivering world-class service and delighting our guests.
• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest. Maintain a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk; engage with guests, ensuring they are always treated in a cordial, respectful manner representing the Company's brand image.
• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols. Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required while maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible
• Aid in store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks
• Meet and exceed sales goals, align to KPI’s and performance standards
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management

What You Bring:

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 IBS with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
• Gets charged up by interacting with others, by being outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to
• Conveys information in a way that inspires action
• Gets excited by developing and sharing fresh ideas
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
