Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of North Louisiana Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate to assist customers on the sales floor and at checkout. You will greet shoppers, monitor entrance activity, and ensure accurate cash handling.

The role involves stocking, rotating merchandise, and supporting merchandising efforts to maintain an inviting sales floor. Previous retail or cashiering experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior retail sales and/or cashiering experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills and ability to assist customers on the sales floor.

Provides friendly, fast, accurate and safe customer service. Provides assistance to customers on the sales floor and promptly assists in checkout at the register. Monitors the entrance and greets all customers. Accurately operates cash register and credit/debit transactions in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures. Must become familiar with all departments/categories to assist with customer questions and requests. Stocks and rotates merchandise on the sales floor. Assists with organization and merchandising of merchandise on the sales floor.Education and/or Experience: High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior retail sales and/or cashiering experience preferred.Screenings: A background screening will be completed as a condition of employment.
