Job summary

IKEA in New York seeks a dedicated Retail Safety & Security professional to protect coworkers, customers and assets. You will support risk, compliance and loss prevention tasks, coordinate incident responses, and help maintain safety standards across the site.

Responsibilities include assisting the Unit Risk & Compliance Manager with assessments and training, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring timely incident documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail safety & security experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws.
• Experience with safety committees and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Protect coworkers, customers and assets from loss, injury, or illness.
• Assist Unit Risk & Compliance Manager with assessments and training.
• Oversee safety and security within the site and report KPI's.
• Assist in establishing and updating business and action plans.
• Coordinate incident response, investigation, documentation and reporting.
• Support internal investigations and loss prevention efforts.
