Winter Park Resort is seeking a Retail/Rental Manager to oversee daily operations of multiple retail and rental facilities, driving guest service, sales, and cost control while ensuring inventory accuracy and staff development.

The role involves managing seasonal revenue between 1.5M and 2.5M, staffing, training, budgeting, and collaboration across departments; weekend and holiday hours required; salary $56,000 with full benefits and opportunities in a resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in Business Management.
• Experience in Personnel Management, Sales Merchandising and Public Relations.
• Experience with Computer Systems and POS Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rental and retail locations and manage front-line staff, including hiring, training and evaluation.
• Ensure accurate accounting of daily revenues, expenses and inventories; implement procedures for accountability.
• Develop merchandising plans and manage inventory to maximize revenues and store standards.
• Coordinate with IT regarding POS systems and reporting; ensure systems support operations.
• Lead weekly department meetings and vendor relations; communicate resort activities to staff.
