Job summary

Walmart in San Diego is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair our refrigeration and HVAC equipment across store facilities. You will use hand and power tools, read work orders, and respond quickly to emergencies to keep coolers and freezers running.

Requirements include 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Utilize work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and ensure safe operation.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely and in compliance with policies.
