Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC systems in Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills with tools and digital devices to complete jobs.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Option 1: Vocational/technical HVAC/R cert + 2 years' experience.
• Option 2: 4+ years in mechanical maintenance or related field.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC/Refrigeration skills.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
