Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Farm & Home products across categories.
• Knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems preferred.
• Ability to learn how to use the company's ERP system.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld Telxon to ensure correct pricing and signing of merchandise.
• Serve as the location's pricing expert handling store pricing and signage updates.
• Oversee activation of all store promotions and price changes.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing at all times.
• Report items that will not scan and address issues.
• Maintain awareness of discontinued and clearance merchandise.
• Assist with cash register operations when needed.
• Follow department merchandising guidelines and safety procedures.
• Attend store meetings as required.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
