Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• North Dakota: Pharmacy Technicians must register as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training with the ND Board of Pharmacy, before beginning employment in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
• May measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders.
• In a medical center or institutional setting, assist with IV admixtures and automated dispensing devices.
