Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to deliver safe, accurate pharmacy care in our fast-paced retail setting. You will process prescriptions, assist with medication preparation, and support insurance claims while collaborating with licensed pharmacists.

Responsibilities

Process new and refill prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications to promote safe and accurate patient care.
Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and communicate with insurance providers to support timely prescription fulfillment.
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with prescription pick-up, answering general pharmacy questions, and operating the point-of-sale system.
Maintain medication inventory, monitor expiration dates, and support quality assurance by helping identify potential medication or dispensing errors.
