Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in our store. You will support the pharmacy team, help fill prescriptions promptly and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and licensure rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or active enrollment.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.
• 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or retail/customer service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to ensure patient safety and accuracy.
• Customer service and team orientation to assist patients.
• Clear communication with patients and colleagues; active listening.
• Math skills to dispense prescriptions and calculate quantities.
• Problem resolution when issues arise with patients or workflows.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
