Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Retail Store Associate for a part-time role in our Philadelphia area. The position offers 20 hours per week, with duties spanning cashier transactions, customer service, stocking, and department support, including occasional pharmacy assistance.

You will engage customers, help locate items, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Qualified candidates typically have a High School diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
• Visual Acuity - close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties and handle transactions.
• Restocking shelves, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities.
• Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel and growing career opportunities.
