Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced retail pharmacist to act as a clinical and operational resource across locations. The role includes staff development, education, and leading a long-term project while contributing to policy formulation and best practices.

40-hour work week with variable shifts, requiring licensure in Illinois or Wisconsin depending on location and a graduate PharmD from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program.
• Illinois/Wisconsin pharmacist license, depending on location.
• Strong accuracy and analytical skills for dosing and IV calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professionally operating retail pharmacy and serves as a resource for staff.
• Leads staff development and education within retail pharmacy.
• Oversees one long-term retail pharmacy project and ensures continuity across locations.
• Participates in formulating retail pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Maintains practice through ongoing literature review and continuing education.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and manages performance within the team.
