Job summary

WIS International is hiring a part-time Retail Pharmacy Inventory Associate in Irvine, CA. You will help top retailers accurately count inventory using handheld scanners and participate in pharmacy training. The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Starting wage is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with opportunities to earn more through productivity and certifications. Training is provided, and travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• No degree required; training provided
• Willingness to travel to retail locations and lift up to 25 lbs
• Complies with healthcare and pharmacy standards as required, incl. PPE and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Count and record inventory using handheld scanners at retail locations.
• Capture part numbers, serial numbers, NDCS and expiration dates of medical devices.
• Maintain high accuracy and meet productivity goals.
• Travel to multiple retail sites as required.
• Work with Pharmacy professionals at events to ensure data integrity.
• Complete training modules in the Learning Center as required

You will spend most of your shift:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
• Climbing ladders when needed

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years old

• Completes pharmacy and hospital training certification, as required
• Complies with all healthcare and pharmacy customer standards, including but not limited to screening requirements, PPE requirements and confidentiality requirements

Material Job Duties

• You will partner one-on-one with healthcare professionals, at an inventory event, capturing part numbers, serial numbers, NDCS and expiration dates of medical devices and/or medication
• Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Meet productivity goals to increase your earnings through our performance-based pay program
• Travel to retail locations
• Achieves established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked
• Communicates information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation
• Works one-on-one with Pharmacy professionals at the event
• Completes pharmacy training modules in the Learning Center, as required
• Creates partnerships and instills trust and confidence in one's abilities,based upon demonstrated expertise
• Takes initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness
• Due to the nature of pharmaceutical products, pharmacy personnel and WIS Supervisors work closely with the Rx Inventory Associates to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assists with events in healthcare and retail settings, as needed
• Leads by example and demonstrates the core values of Spirit, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork at all times

Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, gamer, athlete, coaches, and general labor experience are all valuable backgrounds for this position.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to frequently travel by car and occasionally air, the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to squat, kneel, or crouch when entering inventory from lower shelves; the ability to frequently use a step stool; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
