Marshall Medical Center’s MMF Retail Pharmacy Services seeks a Retail Pharmacy Clerk for per diem days in Placerville, CA. The role supports prescription intake, data entry, and customer transactions, under the pharmacist on duty, ensuring efficient, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong data entry and communication skills, and the ability to work well both in a team and independently, with attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Retail pharmacy or healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred.

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist on Duty, theRetailPharmacy Clerksupports the efficient processing and dispensing of prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. This role assists in prescription intake, data entry, customer transactions, and administrative functions to ensure timely and accurate pharmacy operations in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;associatedegree or higher in a related field preferred.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred.


• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred.

Skills:

• Strong data entry and computer skills.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work well as a team, and independently on assigned projects.
