Job summary

The Staff Pad, partnering with a health organization in Alturas, CA, seeks a Retail Pharmacist to oversee daily retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing, procurement, storage, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Under the Retail Pharmacy Manager, you will lead staff, educate patients on medications, coordinate with physicians, resolve third-party insurance issues, and uphold patient safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited college.
• Strong collaboration and cross-organizational teamwork.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense prescribed medications and verify prescription accuracy
• Educate patients on medication use and storage
• Oversee and guide pharmacy staff for accuracy and compliance
• Uphold quality assurance and security of controlled substances
