Responsibilities

• Solve medication use process problems for patients and the organization.
• Identify quality improvement activities to improve patient care and pharmacy operations.
• Educate and train residents, students, and staff; supervise technicians and trainees.
• Dispense medications following policy, laws, and standards.
• Assess drug information and provide it to patients and professionals.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, billing, inventory control, and regulatory requirements.
• Possibly serve as pharmacist-in-charge per regulations.
