Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure favorable department image to customers by maintaining clean, neat work areas.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers to include provision of all clinical activities.
• Accurately process prescriptions and review progress to goals using the RX system.
• Comply with HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, Abuse, and DEA procedures.
• Monitor inventory, scheduling, and equipment to meet budget goals.
• Maintain policy manuals and necessary equipment for legal compliance.
• Stay informed about trade area, ads, and competition to promote sales.
• Continue expanding pharmacy knowledge and skills.
