Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a Retail Pharmacist.
• Ability to provide drug information and counseling to patients.
• Understanding of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate drug, dose and frequency; clarify ambiguities with prescriber.
• Assist with insurance claim processing and prior authorizations as needed.
• Support discharge processes and coordinate care with healthcare team.
