Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a retail position in Altoona, PA. The role offers variable day and afternoon shifts with a bi-weekly schedule of 74 hours, starting as soon as possible.

You will manage pharmacy operations, drive associate engagement, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Ideal candidates hold a B.Pharm or Pharm.D., possess a PA license and immunization certification, and are proactive in promoting patient care while supporting business

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with PA license.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization Certification.
• Pharmacist degree (B.Pharm or Pharm.D.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store operations to align pharmacy goals with business strategy.
• Oversee prescription accuracy through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with the district manager to optimize stock levels.
• Implement immunizations and MTM programs to grow prescription volume.
• Supervise staff including training, coaching and performance management.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to foster loyalty.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details.
• Prioritize daily tasks such as cycle counts and will-calls.
• Monitor team performance against key department metrics.
