Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is hiring a licensed pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. The pharmacist will provide patient-centered medication services and will cover when the Pharmacy Manager is unavailable, ensuring operations run smoothly.

Education must be ACPE-accredited with a PharmD or bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; Georgia licensure is required. No experience is required, retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with pharmacy/employee management preferred
• Previous student or pharmacist experience in retail pharmacy required

Responsibilities

• The pharmacist ensures that all pharmacy employees provide service and function in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as company philosophy, policies and service standards. The pharmacist will work when the Pharmacy Manager is not present and will report to the Pharmacy Manager.
