Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with Bachelor's or advance degree.
• Currently licensed in the State of practice as a Pharmacist.
• Demonstrated competence in effective communications skills and customer relations; unrestricted Medicaid/Medicare prescription filling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, other health professionals and the community at large.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule in a retail environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and provide direction to associates.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Must be able to stand and perform duties for long periods including moving in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• In absence of Pharmacy Manager, acts as on-duty supervisor of the pharmacy department.
• Supervise and provide guidance to all pharmacy support staff.
• Develop staff schedules for the pharmacy location.
• Serve as primary customer care advocate and uphold service standards.
• Monitor compliance with safety, records, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee training of personnel and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager to implement operational enhancements.
• Identify and pursue marketing opportunities to boost pharmacy sales.
• Monitor third party claim adjudication and resolve issues as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory practices.
