Infor in Marshall, MI seeks a Retail Pharm Vaccination Tech – Outpatient Pharm to support pharmacists with dispensing, data entry, immunizations, and patient care in a fast-paced retail setting.
You’ll maintain inventory, assist with 340B program tasks, and ensure accurate documentation using ScriptPro and other systems; Michigan license and immunization cert are required.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Retail Pharmacy Manager
Job Summary: Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Actively participates in creating an environment that fosters patient, family, provider, and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and enjoys working with customers.
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License, Immunization Certification, and American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Retail pharmacy experience preferred. Utilizes effective written and verbal communications with e xcellent communication and customer service skills . Performs all duties and responsibilities in an ethical and responsible manner. Familiar with medical terminology and pharmacy practices. Detail-oriented and reliable. Familiar with Microsoft 365 and retail pharmacy software.
Working Conditions: Potentially exposed to infectious diseases and hazardous material. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
Physical Requirements: Constantly stand, walk, reach, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear, lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs. Frequently push/pull, bend/twist, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 25 to 49 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry 50+ lbs.
