Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Harrisonburg, VA to deliver expert automotive parts knowledge and DIY service support.

You will assist customers in-store and via phone, perform battery testing and installations, and help maintain store presentation and inventory accuracy. Preferred candidates have 3-5 years in automotive parts, ASE certification or readiness, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years automotive parts experience or equivalent.
• Ability to perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers both in-store and via phone.
• Meet personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installations.
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards; perform key holder duties as needed.
• Assist in inventory processes including stock put-away and cycle counts.

The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
