Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and high-value customer service in our store. You will handle advanced store systems, assist DIY customers, and perform services such as battery installations and wiper replacements while maintaining store appearance and safety standards.

You will manage inventory processes, locate parts, and use POS and lookup systems to support sales goals. Prior automotive parts experience and ASE readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE preferred but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs, and manuals; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
