Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Bloom Township. You will support DIY customers with expert product and system knowledge, perform services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and drive in-store sales while maintaining clean, organized facilities.

You will access store inventory, operate POS and parts lookup systems, and participate in key holder duties. English communication is required; ASE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.).
• Experience with car parts identification and sourcing from multiple channels.
• Familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties (opening/closing, task assignment).

Job DescriptionWhat is a Retail Parts Pro?Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
