Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro for a full-time, professional sales role focused on DIY customers. You will use expert parts knowledge and store systems to assist customers, perform services, and source parts from multiple channels.

The position emphasizes friendly communication, accurate inventory handling, and strong sales ability, with flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs; basic math; use MS software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper replacements.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance; perform key holder duties.
• Assist in inventory processes: cycle counts, back stock, and truck put away.

Job DescriptionWhat is a Retail Parts Pro?Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
