Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. seeks an Operations Associate in San Diego to manage shipping and receiving, inventory tasks, and in-store merchandising to create an excellent customer experience. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, signage placement, cash handling, and adherence to store protocols. Weekend/evening availability and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory.
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs.
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
