Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily store operations, guest service, and merchandising. You will lead a team, manage promotions, coordinate inventory, and ensure policy compliance while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Responsibilities include onboarding new teammates, scheduling, and collaborating with store management to achieve sales goals. This role requires flexibility, travel within the district, and a commitment to Buckle's Code of Ethics

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related retail experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older due to job nature.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Manage promotions and ensure signage is displayed properly.
  • Complete pulls, markdowns, and inventory reviews; monitor layaways and receipts.
  • Answer internal and external guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Lead onboarding and interviewing activities; monitor hiring dashboards daily.
  • Maintain knowledge and use of Point of Sale (POS) software.
  • Develop and maintain visual merchandising standards; organize fixtures and shelving.
  • Provide feedback to Store Manager and ensure adherence to Buckle policies.
  • Travel to cover other stores within the district as business needs require.
