Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution at the TRENTON-PRINCETON, NJ location.

You will lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing integrity, and visual standards to deliver a customer-ready store environment. Responsibilities include SOP compliance, staffing planning, Ship from Store, RTV/ASN processes, and training team members while upholding Asset Protection practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing SOPs and company programs.
• Ability to manage inventory, pricing, and planogram sets.
• Strong workload planning and floor leadership skills.
• Experience with Ship from Store and RTV/ASN processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring unloading, sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing to business needs.
• Oversee in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and pricing integrity across sales floor and systems.
• Manage planogram execution and maintain visual merchandising standards as per company expectations.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection initiatives and shrink reduction through compliance and safe operations.
