Job summary

Circle K in New Iberia, LA is seeking a part-time store associate with weekday and weekend availability. You will merchandise, stock and price items, assist in deliveries, and maintain clean, safe store conditions. Provide friendly customer service, greet shoppers, handle basic transactions and operate the POS.

The role requires reliability, punctuality and teamwork. Experience in retail is preferred but not required; minimum age 16 with a HS diploma or GED preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and display merchandise.
• Ensure accurate pricing and shelf labeling.
• Assist in inventory and deliveries verification.
• Provide prompt customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
