Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandising Specialist in Layton, UT to style and present apparel displays that reflect the brand. You will work hands-on in stores, creating polished, trend-forward visuals and mannequins, while ensuring reports are submitted through the Winston App on a mobile device.

The role requires experience in apparel merchandising, knowledge of planograms, and strong communication. A flexible schedule and project-based hours are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. As an apparel merchandiser, you’ll ensure clothing is styled, organized, and presented to reflect brand identity and attract shoppers. Working hands‑on in stores, you’ll be responsible for styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend‑forward shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to liftup to 25 pounds and stand for theentire shift

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
