Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a motivated Retail Merchandising Specialist in Abilene, TX. As an apparel merchandiser, you will style mannequins and displays that reflect the brand identity and attract shoppers, working hands-on in stores.

You will develop merchandising strategies, manage planograms, and report store visits through the Winston App. This role requires independent work across different stores, strong time management, and physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphone reporting via Winston App (iOS 11+ or Android 2020+)
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. As an apparel merchandiser, you'll ensure clothing is styled, organized, and presented to reflect brand identity and attract shoppers. Working hands-on in stores, you'll be responsible for styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience.

Responsibilities
