Job summary

The HomeGoods team at The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a store associate role in Pittsburgh. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure a positive customer experience, and help keep the store clean and organized.

As a team player with strong communication and multitasking skills, you will train other associates, manage backroom processes, and support on-sell programs while adhering to safety and labor guidelines. Starting pay is $14.25–$14.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Able to lift heavy objects and train others.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures associates process efficiently and effectively.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandising on the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Maintains backroom organization and replenishment for easy floor transfer.
• Ensures products are properly tagged, hung, secured and coded.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and adherence to labor policies.
