As a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, you will work closely with our Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and create positive experiences for the communities we serve. Your focus will be on merchandising and processing freight, ensuring the store meets company standards.

Your role includes assisting with day-to-day operations, protecting company assets, and maintaining cleanliness. Strong communication skills are vital, and prior retail and management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent movement.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Ensure a positive and safe environment.
• Process DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow.
