Job summary

Retail Odyssey is seeking an in-store merchandising associate to support retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities. You will also assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required—training and team support are provided. You will engage with customers and management in a friendly, energetic manner and may work additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Reliable transportation to work location.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build displays and end caps to maximize sales opportunities.
• Reset shelves with product rotation and maintain organized displays.
• Track store inventory and report findings to leadership.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers' needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
