Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant to build displays, reset shelves, and monitor inventory. You will support store leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires to drive sales and shopper satisfaction.

We offer competitive wages at $17.00 per hour, with growth opportunities and training for success. No prior experience required; transportation to our MD location is assumed for this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
