Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company in Edmonds, WA is hiring for an in-store merchandising role. You will build displays, reset shelves, rotate stock, and track inventory to help retailers maximize sales opportunities.

You will also support leadership with reporting, scheduling, onboarding new hires, and training. No prior merchandising experience is required as training is provided, and you must be 18+ with the ability to lift 50 lbs. Reliable transportation is needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Lead and train people.
• Record work after each shift with smartphone or tablet.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move about the store.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
