Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, seeks an in-store merchandising associate in Detroit. You will help build displays, rotate stock, and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. Training is provided; growth opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and able to perform physical tasks.
• 1-2 years of merchandising experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
