Job summary

Retail Odyssey, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking a motivated in-store merchandiser to support retailers and shoppers. You will build displays, reset shelves, manage product rotation, and track inventory while collaborating with leadership on training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

You’ll engage customers with enthusiasm, perform duties safely, and use mobile devices to record work after each shift. Prior experience is helpful, but training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to lead and train others in store operations.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-first mindset in a retail setting.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
