Job summary

SAS Retail Services, Inc. in Anchorage is seeking an in-store merchandising associate to build displays, reset shelves, rotate stock, and track inventory to maximize sales. You’ll also support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required as training and team support are provided; you must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable interacting with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
