Job summary

SFS is seeking an Independent Contractor Retail Merchandiser to provide merchandising services at independent pharmacies within designated client windows. The role is part-time, averaging about 4 hours per store visit, with schedules set around client deadlines and the ability to choose your timing within a weekday window.

Most work occurs during weekday daytime hours, with opportunities to take on additional projects across divisions as available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Weekday daytime availability.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations.
• Internet access and active email address.
• Smartphone or tablet for reporting and project documentation.
• Ability to submit completed work reports on the day of service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work a minimum 4-hour assignment when scheduled.

• Perform pharmacy and retail merchandising activities
• Execute retail resets and product placement initiatives
• Set and maintain product sections using planograms
• Customize and modify planograms as needed
• Install shelf talkers and promotional signage
• Conduct new item cut-ins and product placement
• Maintain shelf organization and cleanliness
• Update shelf labels and pricing information
• Check for expired, discontinued, or out-of-stock products
• Place and merchandise OTC product orders
• Complete merchandising reports and project documentation
• Support a variety of merchandising projects based on client needs

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 4 hours per store visit. Work is scheduled around client deadlines rather than fixed shifts, allowing you to determine when you complete your assignments within the required timeframe.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Previous retail merchandising, pharmacy, health and beauty, or reset experience is preferred but not required.
