L&R is a leading distributor serving retailers across the West, Central, and East regions. This Field Merchandiser role covers Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, and Elizabeth, CO, with 30–40 hours per week and travel between locations.

The position offers part-time to full-time prospects with benefits for full-timers and opportunities to transition after 60 days. You will place orders, service routes, implement displays, maintain stock levels, and ensure all resets meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per the assigned call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process: merchandising delivery from previous order, photos, and stock maintenance.
• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet L&R’s standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planograms.
• Process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of sales, promos, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Associates at each visit.
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt.
• Provide professional communication with Store Management.
• Clean and organize display cases and shelves.
• Conduct store surveys and audits with photos.
• Service additional stores as needed.

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.

We are looking for a part-time to full time representative to service retail stores such as but not limited to Albertsons and Kroger in various locations within the West, Central, and East Coast regions of the country.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Field Merchandiser ensures products are properly stocked, organized, and displayed across assigned retail locations. The rolewill alsosupportstore resets by implementing new planograms,relocatingproducts, setting shelves, and ensuring all displays meet company and retailer standards.

LOCATIONS & SCHEDULE

Territories - Castle Rock, CO |Parker, CO | Lone Tree, CO | Elizabeth, CO

Hours - Up to 30 - 40 hours weekly

Service hours are between 6 AM – 5 PM with 8 PM as the drop-dead time with authorization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Place orders for required inventory according to store ordering guidelines,utilizinga company-supplied tablet and scanner leveragingRepslysoftware.

• Service store routes according to the assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager.

• Follow a specific store visit process inclusive of merchandising delivery from thepreviousorder, filling out task forms, taking pictures, order tomaintainstock levels and other projects asrequested.

• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays, fixtures, and sections according to provided planograms and instructions.

• Ensure all resets are completed according to L&R’s standards and project timelines.

• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures as needed to align with planogram specifications.

• Process customer returns associated with resets following L&R’s returns & reclamation guidelines.

• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policiesregardinginvoicing, exchanges, and returns.

• Maintain efficient communication with Store Associates upon each store visit.

• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt and checked in by authorized store personnel.

• Provide consistent professional communication with Store Management and Store Associates.

• Clean and organize display cases and shelves.

• Conduct store surveys and audits per request, including but not limited to, taking photographs of assigned departments to solve store issues.

• Serviceadditionalstores upon business needs andnecessities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Previousmerchandising or retail experience.

• Familiarity withresets,planograms andstorefootageis a plus.

• Retail salesand inventory controlknowledgeareaplus.

• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.

• Ability to conduct physical work,frequentlylifting upto 50lbs.

• Proficientwithtabletsandsmartphones.

• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
