Job summary

Winston Retail seeks a passionate, detail-driven Retail Merchandiser to keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You'll work hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation, and support an engaging shopping experience reflecting the brand’s identity.

The role requires independent work across multiple stores, strong time management, and reporting via our Winston App. Prior merchandising experience and comfort with smartphones are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives.
• Keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting merchandise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with store standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and drive sales.
• Communicate merchandising needs with team and store management.
• Work independently or with a team across different stores.
• Manage monthly scheduling to complete visits and deliverables on time.
• Submit visit reports with before/after photos and feedback via Winston App.
• Reporting on smartphones (iOS: iPhone 11+; Android: 2020+ OS ≤4 versions behind).

Job Title: Retail Merchandiser

Location: Roseburg, OR

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)

Expected Hours: Varies, Project-Based

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands‑on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards


• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise


• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings


• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability


• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device


• Smartphones are required for reporting:

  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
  
  
  
  


• Ability to liftto 25 pounds and stand for theentire shift

Experience & Skills
