Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate Retail Merchandiser in Ripon, WI to ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. This independent contractor role involves working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory and uphold brand presentation standards.

You will develop merchandising strategies, execute planograms, and report findings using our Winston App. Schedule varies by project, with weekends optional and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Overview:

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to liftto 25 pounds and stand for theentire shift
