Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide merchandising contractor network. Join as an experienced Retail Merchandiser to support major retailers and brands with flexible, project-based work across the United States. Projects range from 12–20 hours per month, with occasional early-month service requirements.

Ideal for self-motivated professionals seeking supplemental income while staying active. You’ll review instructions, perform resets, inventory, and display maintenance, and report via mobile devices,

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime windows.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.

SFS is growing, and we're looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation's largest retailers and brands.

Our clients provide service windows rather than specific work schedules, allowing you a flexible schedule that works for you while meeting project requirements.

Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, cut-ins, inventory audits, display maintenance, POP installation, product stocking, and other retail support activities. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some retailer locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

What You'll Do
